Are your products truly organic?
Yes, we use certified organic ingredients, however our products themselves are not certified organic. We plan to become a certified organic company soon.

Are your products made by hand?
Yes, we make all our products in small batches in our small production studio just outside Atlanta, Georgia. 

Are you cruelty free? 
Yes, we are 100% cruelty free and certified so by PETA through Beauty without Bunnies. We would never condone animal testing and we only use suppliers that are certified cruelty free.  

How long do your products last? What is the shelf life?
Because our products are truly all-natural we do not add any synthetic preservatives. Our products do have a shelf life of about 6 to 9  months. Shelf life can be extended the best by storing our products away from sunlight and in a cool, dry place. Our products that contain water include lactobacillus ferment, a completely natural preservative made from radish root. We also add tocopherols (Vitamin E) in our oils to help extend the life and slow oxidation.  In the uncommon case that one of our products that you purchase is not completely fresh please let us know right away.   

Where do you get your supplies?
We source our raw ingredients from many locations. We love using local suppliers when possible, we are challenged to find organic suppliers so we use multiple companies to fulfill our needs. All of our suppliers are American Companies. All our packaging is made in the USA.  

How long will it take to get my products?
We typically ship 98% of our orders within  72 hours IF ORDER IS PLACED MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. (Excluding Holidays) However, because our products are all hand made sometimes our production process takes a bit longer. Including time spent in shipping most orders are received within 5-10 days from ordering. If it takes a bit longer we will let you know! If you need to rush your order let us know and we are happy to work with you.  

Why does my Balance Mist or Hair Texturizer look cloudy or different? 
We use all natural raw ingredients and we make our infusions and extracts by hand. Our products do typically differ in color and clarity from batch to batch. We also use pure aloe vera juice that changes from time to time from our supplier, this can also affect the clarity of our products. You can be certain that even with these sight differences the products themselves are not affected and are still just as effective and potent. Just forgive their changes in appearance.  This also goes for all the products we create- the textures and colors may vary from time to time. 

Why does my soap have a white layer on top?
We hand make all our soap bases and add essential oils after the saponification process, the citrus oils we use may leave a small thin film on top we also hand bottle our soaps so sometimes we get some premature lathering from mixing and pouring. This film of bubbles will not change the effectiveness of your soap, it just shows you its a truly hand processed product.  

Who formulates your products, how are they created?
We have created all our formulations from scratch, we began in 2012 with the formulas and have since slowly launched each one. We are both herbalists and have done extensive research in botany and plant's medicinal abilities. Brad also holds a background in biology.

Our micro factory and offices are open Monday through Friday from 10AM-5PM EST, however office hours may vary and we will do our best to get back in touch with you as soon as possible, should we miss your call. Email is always the easiest way to reach someone on our team.  We will reply to any emails or messages we receive during that time. All orders are shipped Monday through Friday via USPS. Shop hours will vary from time to time, we are typically opened 11-6PM EST M-SA and 12-5PM EST SUN.
