Marketing Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a stellar candidate! We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator. The position reports directly to our Creative Director and is responsible for supporting, improving and further developing our marketing practices to increase ongoing consumer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate will be someone who can not only write and develop engaging content, but can also help create targeted strategies and use analytics and data to make objective decisions about performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the face of the LBA's online community, responding to and engaging fans in conversation

  • Help develop, implement, optimize and manage social media and e-mail marketing strategy to continually increase loyalty and engagement

  • Partner in the day-to-day execution of digital content, including creating and scheduling blog posts, social media and e-mail marketing communication

  • Assist with digital marketing campaigns and sweepstakes, tracking and reporting results, and contributing to weekly status reports and monthly recap reports

  • Manage e-mail lists, communications and product mailings as part of our loyalty and outreach programs

  • Help create and manage affiliate/ambassador program with the assistance of our PR team.

  • Assist in daily website maintenance, including updating the pressroom and managing customer reviews

  • Provide event support and assist in event execution

  • Interact with customers, respond to & resolve all customer service inquiries in realtime from various channels

  • Perform A/B tests, tracking and analyzing results, implementing changes based on data, and contributing to weekly status reports and monthly recap reports

  • Monitor other health and wellness retailers and stay current on social media trends, tracking key competitors and sharing findings with the digital marketing team

  • Assist the Sales and Marketing teams in forward-planning of marketing activities, developing and updating marketing calendars and collateral

Desired Skills and Experience
    • Must have a Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, Market Research, Journalism, or other related field required

    • Must be able to provide self with reliable transportation, computing and web access for on and off-site shifts/projects

    • Strong computer skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication, strong copywriting and editing skills

    • Knowledge of social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. is required

    • Energy, with a desire to come up with fresh ideas on how to grow our online presence

    • Ability to “speak” to a target market through online marketing and social media

    • Able to multitask and work on a variety of projects simultaneously

    • Proven ability to establish, foster, and maintain relationships with key partners

    • Firm understanding of marketing best practices

    • Outgoing personality and solid work ethic

    • Passion for digital marketing

    • Experience working in Shopify, MailChimp, Wordpress and/or Photoshop is a plus

    • Experience analyzing data and statistics in Excel is a plus

    • HTML experience a plus
